The Bradenton Area Economic Development Corporation recently appointed Max Stewart to a new position: director of business development. Stewart is the former regional manager for international trade development for Enterprise Florida, the state’s public-private partnership for economic development. Stewart joined Enterprise Florida in 2013 and was charged with developing and supporting Florida manufacturing and service companies in their exports and increasing their international focus. The Bradenton Area Economic Development Corporation is a private nonprofit in charge of economic development activity in Manatee County.
