The downtown Bradenton Farmers' Market is reopening for the 2017-2018 season on Saturday, Oct. 7, and continuing through Saturday, May 26. The market takes place each Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. along Old Main Street, between Manatee Avenue West and Third Avenue West. Over 30 vendors set up each week to sell locally grown produce, artisanal food products and handmade crafts. The market partners with Florida Organic Growers to offer Fresh Access Bucks, which allows Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program shoppers to double the value of their food stamps.
